Adventure #1 - Los Trancos Open Space Preserve
Los Trancos Open Space Preserve is a 274-acre area located in the Santa Cruz Mountains above Palo Alto. We visited on Sunday, August 2, 2009. The Los Trancos Preserve is one of the best spots to learn about earthquake geology, as the Preserve is split by the San Andreas Fault. The trail is 1.5 miles. Below are some photos I took along the trail.
